The All-Hands meeting.
The energy is high, the vision is clear, the leadership team is aligned.

Then Monday arrives – and the noise begins again.

When I managed the North American operations of a multinational software company, I use to travel to Europe every Fall for an annual All-Hands strategy meeting. Managers from about a dozen countries would descend in a hotel near a local office, build relationships, gossip, share status updates and presentations, align around bigger goals, and drink way too much sometimes. It was fun! Even if I suspected the cost was too high for what the company got out of the meeting, I would have been upset if it didn’t happen. Despite the usual stress of my job, I’d leave the meeting feeling energized with a renewed focus. Yet within weeks, operational urgency took over.

Urgent tasks replace important goals. Meetings fill calendars. The strategy that felt so alive starts to fade behind the day-to-day. And let’s face it, change is often resisted even when the status quo hasn’t been working out.

Does this sound familiar?

After the All-Hands helps managers and management teams bridge the gap between big-picture goals and day-to-day realities. Through focused coaching conversations with your management team, your managers will get the support they need to convert the vision set from an All-Hands meeting into sustained collective action. We’ll create structures for shared accountability, navigate competing priorities, and strengthen the collaboration that fuels real progress.

You can have the best managers on a management team, but that alone is sort of like planting seeds in a garden and forgetting to water it. After the All-Hands team coaching could be the water that will help your management team thrive.
